The Importance of Jury Duty

the author believes in jury duty. his father was called to be a juror in a homicide case and started the deliberation and the defendant was ultimately acquitted. he father shared this with him through his life. the author is now a judge and he believes it is very important for jurers to do their jobs and believes its fair justice. "Because I believe in government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I believe in jury duty".

the author is a teacher who also likes martial arts. he loves teaching and educating young high school students. when he goes to the gym he sees young brazilian men who aspire to become professionals in martial arts. when he tells his students he likes marial arts they would ask " so why do you do it." the author believes that life a spiritual struggle. "I believe that life is a spiritual struggle. My battle is not against another fighter but against the unjust and apathetic system that is attacking my students". he helps and teaches students to graduate high school and have a good life.
