Big Fairs, Big fun, Big money

when it come to fairs they can be really expensive. you have to pay for everything you do. you have to pay to get in, pay to eat, pay to ride rides, and even to just have fun. fairs are a lot of fun but by the end of the day you can be broke! people never really see how much they spend at fairs until all their money is gone. i dont think it is right beacuse it is a place that brings the community together. A place to have fun and hang out with family and friends. i think the fair should lower their prices so more people can go and not worry about their money situation!

  1. In Lydia Moore's post she writes that when fair time comes around they are really expensive. This is mostly true but when fair time comes around the people that work in the stands that sell objects, food and the people expect to have an income especially when they get everything ready and prepared for the fair. I disagree that it is not fun that you have to pay for everything but really what you are paying for is an object that too so long to make and possibly more ingredients for the next batch.

  2. In the post big fairs, big fun, big money, the author writes that although fairs are lots of fun they are way too expensive. I do agree that fairs can cost a lot of money. Yes you have to buy tickets for rides, buy food, and also pay to just get in. All these fees can add up to quite a lot of cash. However, I believe that the majority of families that attend fairs know that they are going to need to bring a lot of money before hand. I don't think that the high prices surprise many people who are at a fair. Sure the costs could be lowered, but if you don't want to spend a lot then I think that you should just not go.

  3. In her post, Lydia writes about how fairs are expensive when you pay your way to get in, the food you eat, and the rides you ride. This might be true but most people who go to fairs show animals and they pay only around ten dollars for the whole week to get in and if you dont show animals you can usually go to the main building and ask for a week pass so that it is cheaper. Since the food costs a lot of money you should only get it once or twice that week and go to a cheaper place outside of the fair and bring it back into the fair with you. So you can still be with your friends but with cheaper food. I agree that fairs are expensive but that is only to pay for all the carnies expenses and the expenses of all the events being held there.
